Position Summary

The Technical Production Administrator is responsible for coordinating production planning, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting SAP-related processes to ensure efficient and compliant manufacturing operations.  This role also serves as a key liaison across departments and provides backup support for production administration.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, revise, and maintain production and fine planning polocies and procedures.
  • Perform SAP corrections and reconciliations for both scheduled and ad hoc cycle counts.  Develop root cause analysis to record cycle counts and take appropriate actions.
  • Review and resolve weekly inventory By Tracker errors by aligning data with SAP; coordinate with the Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor as needed.
  • Servie as backup for the Production Administrator, assuming full responsibilities during their absence.
  • Lead fine planning by generating and managing production and pack-out orders based on production and shipping schedules.
  • Conduct batch determinations and ensure timely order release to support on-time production.
  • Monitor production timeliness and support initiaitves to improve on-time performance.
  • Execute additional SAP bookings, including solvent boil-outs, heel removeals, and scrapping of non-conforming material.
  • Own and resolve weekly variance reports to maintain data accuracy and process integrity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant production operations.
  • Assist with other duties and special projects as assigned.

Education and/or Experience

  • A high school diploma or GED is required; one ore more years in operations administration or planning positions.
  • Basic data entry and reading skills are required.
  • SAP experiance or similar ERP system experience is strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and additional basic computer entry is required.
  • Strong communication skills with an ability to work and communication crossfunctionally.
  • High attention to detail.

Phycial Demands & Work Environment

  • Regularly required to reach with hands and arms, and talk and hear.
  • Frequently required to sit and occassionally stand and walk.
  • Frequent use of mouse and keyboard.
  • Occassionally exposed to hazardous materials/chemcials.
  • Required to wear specialized protective or safety equipment such as safety shoes, eye protection, hearing protection or breathing apparatus.
