Summary

We’re seeking a confident, experienced weekend shift Production Supervisor to lead all production floor operations during our 3x12 weekend shifts. As the most senior leader on-site Friday, Saturday and Sunday (6:00am - 6:00pm), you’ll be responsible for driving production to meet deadlines, ensuring quality standards, and managing multiple areas of the production floor. 

Your Role and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all production floor activities across multiple departments during weekend shifts.
  • Drive production output to meet schedule commitments and customer delivery timelines.
  • Supervise, coach, and develop direct labor teams to ensure high performance and engagement.
  • Monitor material flow and coordinate with weekday teams to ensure continuity and readiness.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, including product defects and implements timely corrective actions.
  • Maintain a safe work environment and enforce compliance with safety policies and procedures.
  • Own execution of production schedules and ensure accurate reporting of progress and issues.
  • Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Materials to resolve escalations and improve processes.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and proactively address non-conformances.
  • Monitor and maintain departmental inventory levels and as needed, submits purchase requisitions to ensure adequate amounts of raw material on hand, as well as consumption of processed material in other departments.

What is Required for the Role:

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
  • Strong understanding of production planning, scheduling, and workflow optimization.
  • Experience overseeing multiple production areas or departments.
  • Proven ability to lead teams independently and make decisions under pressure.
  • Working knowledge of quality systems and standards (e.g., ISO, lean manufacturing).
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
  • High emotional intelligence, with the ability to communicate to people at all levels of an organization ability to build trust across teams and leadership skills that inspire and motivate others.
  • Availability to work weekends and provide leadership coverage during off-hours.
