JOB PURPOSE

Support the planning and coordination of material supply, production schedules, and demand forecasts to ensure the timely availability of medical products. Assist in aligning planning activities with operational capabilities and customer requirements, while maintaining efficiency in inventory and supply levels.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Create weekly production plans for short term and share them with operations.
  2. Monitor inventory levels for work in process or finished goods to prevent stockouts or overstock situations and ensure the plans accomplish.
  3. Create the production orders, special orders for legacy and NPI (Sort, validation, PQ, OQ, First Article, Master lots, and others) and following of TECO aging report.
  4. Maintain planning data in ERP systems and keep clean the system.
  5. Communicate and coordinate actions with other areas, (Quality, Production, Engineering) to ensure the monthly shipping plan.
  6. Following Out Site service shipments
  7. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain area.

Education    

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in the English language with a minimum level of B2

Knowledge and skills

  • Knowledge of planning theory, MRP, capacity analysis and forecasting accuracy.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes, industry, and suppliers.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Business application skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint) and supply chain modeling skills.
  • Applies cause and effect thinking to identify common contract risk areas.
  • Knowledge: SAP, Inventory, Planning.

Experience  

  • 2-5 years of experience in Supply Chain
  • Experience in medical industry (required)
  • Six Sigma Yellow/ Green Belt certification (preferred)
