Human Resources Generalist

Are you passionate about people and driven to make a meaningful impact? We’re seeking an experienced HR Generalist who thrives on building strong relationships, solving challenges with empathy, and creating a workplace where talent flourishes.

In this role, you’ll be the go-to partner for employee relations, full-cycle talent acquisition, and community engagement. You’ll also lead key HR functions—from onboarding and compliance to employee engagement and performance management—while continuously improving processes and supporting training initiatives.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

    • Be a Trusted Advisor – Provide coaching-based guidance to employees and ensure fair, consistent application of policies.
    • Recruit with Purpose – Manage full-cycle hiring and lead community outreach to attract top talent.
    • Drive HR Excellence – Oversee onboarding/offboarding, leave administration, unemployment claims, audits, time recording, reporting, and performance reviews.
    • Champion Growth – Support training programs that build leadership, teamwork, and compliance.
    • Collaborate & Influence – Work closely with site leadership and regional HR teams to uphold our Code of Conduct and foster a culture of integrity.

What Is Required for This Role:

    • Proven HR generalist experience with a strong foundation in employee relations and recruiting.
    • Previous experience as an HR Generalist in a manufacturing environment.  Experience in 24/7 operations is preferred.  
    • A proactive mindset with a passion for process improvement and people development.
    • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business Administration, with 5+ years of progressive HR experience. A Master’s degree is a plus, and equivalent experience will be considered.
    • Solid understanding of employment laws (ADA, FMLA, OSHA, Workers’ Compensation) and how to apply them with fairness and clarity.
    • High integrity, strong leadership presence, and the ability to influence and inspire others.
    • A self-starter mindset—motivated, organized, and committed to meeting deadlines.
    • Exceptional communication skills and a proven track record of driving change and executing HR programs.Confident, assertive, and ready to take initiative.
    • Experience with SAP SuccessFactors, ADP reporting, eTime, and HRIS/ATS systems is preferred.
