The following challenges await you: 

• As a Senior Consultant (m/f/d) Digital Strategy & AI, you will work closely with our business units to drive tailored, innovative, and strategically aligned concepts and solutions that leverage digital capabilities and AI potential to optimize processes and sustainably enhance customer experiences.
• You will take responsibility for the strategic design and leadership of complex projects across all digital customer touchpoints. Based on in-depth analyses and customer insights, you will identify opportunities and develop user-centric, economically viable recommendations for action.
• You will evaluate and support the implementation of innovative digital and AI-based solutions in the B2B customer and employer experience environment (e.g., for Sales, Marketing, or Customer Service), assess their business impact, and take joint responsibility for their execution together with our implementation partners.
• You will collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams from IT, Data Science, and Data Engineering to understand business requirements and successfully deliver solutions.
• With your proactive, strategic mindset and strong understanding of technological trends, you will play a key role in driving Heraeus’ customer-centric digital transformation and positioning AI as an enabler for efficient processes and outstanding customer experiences. 

What is required for this role: 

• A completed university degree in a business, technical, or business-related field (e.g., Business Administration, Business Informatics, Statistics) or a comparable qualification.
• More than 5 years of hands-on experience in digital transformation, conceptual design, strategic development, and implementation of innovative solutions (ideally across multiple customer touchpoints in a 2B environment).
• The ability to present (Gen)AI use cases clearly and convincingly to different management levels, applying appropriate presentation techniques for each audience.
• In-depth knowledge in the design and/or implementation of relevant systems (e.g., SAP, CRM, service and commerce systems) as well as a strong understanding of related processes.
• Expertise in customer experience solutions and tools, along with practical experience in AI-based approaches (e.g., Conversational AI, Agentic AI).
• Excellent project and stakeholder management skills, including experience in leading complex transformation and strategy projects.
• A confident demeanor, very strong communication skills in both German and English, and a high level of assertiveness, ownership, and independence.
