Position Summary

The Internal Communications Manager will lead the execution of internal communications strategies that foster employee engagement, support organizational alignment, and promote company culture. It involves creating and managing content across multiple channels, partnering with leadership and HR on key initiatives, and supporting change communications, events, and employee programs. Strong collaboration, messaging expertise, and alignment with brand and strategic goals are central to success in this Internal Communications Manager position.

What You’ll Do Every Day:

  • Implement a comprehensive internal communications strategy and support project efforts focused on employee engagement, culture, and organizational alignment.
  • Partner with HR, leadership, and department heads to communicate key initiatives, including organizational changes, strategic priorities.
  • Develop and manage editorial calendars for internal content across multiple channels (email, intranet, digital signage, Slack/Teams, etc.).
  • Coordinate cross-functional campaigns and employee communications projects with relevant departments across the business.
  • Partner with the Communications Director to promote internal events and support their execution in ways that engage employees and facilitate attendance.
  • Develop, produce, edit and tailor content for specific audiences, demonstrating an understanding of messaging and brand positioning, including a variety of print and digital formats, including emails, company announcements, employee spotlights, internal newsletters and leadership messages.
  • Support leadership with speechwriting, talking points, and presentation materials for internal events and communications.
  • Measure and analyze employee feedback and communication effectiveness to continuously improve engagement strategies.
  • Serve as a liaison between internal stakeholders and the broader communications and marketing teams to ensure alignment between internal and external messaging.
  • Other duties assigned as required.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Organizational Development, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in internal or corporate communications, preferably in a regulated industry and/or healthcare, medical device or life sciences.
  • Proven ability to manage internal communications in a regulated environment.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience with internal communication platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Staffbase, Microsoft Teams).
  • Strong writing skills and an ability to work in various mediums.
  • Project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with senior level managers.
  • Experience supporting change management and organizational transformation preferred.
  • Background in employee engagement, culture, or HR communications preferred.
  • Data-driven approach to measuring communication impact and engagement preferred.   

Medevio is committed to providing competitive total compensation and benefits packages. The expected hiring range for this position is between $100,000 and $115,000 based upon a full-time schedule. This is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. Base salaries are determined by taking a variety of factors in account, including, but not limited to, candidate qualifications, geographic locations, market conditions and internal equity. This position is bonus eligible, with a target bonus of 10%. Our total compensation package includes eligibility for comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) plan with company match, education reimbursement, paid parental leave and paid time off.
