As Corporate Consulting and Digitalization team at Heraeus, we know the challenges today's global manufacturing and service companies face. The following challenges awaits you:

  • You manage complex projects and provide consulting services in all areas of operations (for example in production, logistics, planning and maintenance).
  • Your consulting is characterized by strategically relevant projects in our operating companies, interactions with the management teams and the identification of long-term supply chain strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Your responsibilities will also include leading cross-site projects to increase profitability and productivity, as well as optimizing production processes. As part of international project teams, you will independently manage projects from conception to implementation and ensure their sustainability through regular performance evaluations.
  • You will play a key role in the Supply Chain Excellence team and ensure that the team is consistently focused on customer needs, quality and efficiency.
  • Using an entrepreneurial approach, you will actively drive the conceptual development of the Heraeus-wide Supply Chain Excellence approach.
  • Coaching employees from our operational business units will also be part of your responsibilities.

Your profile:

  • Successfully completed bachelor’s or master’s degree in field of supply chain management (SCM), engineering, economics or equivalent
  • Several years of experience (at least 4 years) in strategy consulting focused on Supply Chain, ideally in one of the top strategy consultancies
  • Profound knowledge of production and production-related areas (e.g. production planning and control)
  • A high degree of independence in the elaboration and development of new topics relevant to us, as well as a strength in actively promoting these topics within the organization.
  • Willingness to work in an evolving environment and collaborate across multiple business areas and employee groups to achieve common business objectives
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully delivering projects within defined timeline and budget
  • Fluent in English and German both in written and spoken
  • Willingness to travel up to 75% internationally on a project basis, also over several weeks
