Job Purpose

This role will be a part of a cross functional team to ensure completion of the project according to project schedule and budget. The Process Development Engineer will be the owner in the processes for a complex catheter or sub-assembly. This role will work closely with development, manufacturing, and quality.

Major Responsibilities

Participates in the execution of the process design, development, and validation activities for medical devices through the product development process.
Able to determine solutions for problems, process selection decisions, and technical challenges.
Leverages documents such as process validation protocols or engineering studies that demonstrate technical rationale for associated decision.
Works collaboratively with technicians and operators on the production floor to solve technical problems.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related technical field strongly preferred.

Knowledge and skills

Demonstrates basic knowledge of engineering fundamentals
Medium to Fluent in spoken and written business English and Spanish.
Able to execute and communicate on any technical and/or project workstreams
Able to communicate technical concepts to all audiences including manager and production employees
Demonstrated ability to develop cross-functional relationships and influence to drive results
Adaptable to the need for continuous improvements and continued change to meet company needs
