We are looking for a Senior Manager to support the further development of Heraeus’ Healthcare Platform. The Healthcare Platform comprises five MedTech businesses, from component manufactures to a leading provider of orthopedic bone cement – unified by the ambition to improve patients’ lives.

As a Senior Manager in the Healthcare Platform, you will support the Head of the Healthcare Platform, the leadership teams of the operating companies and Heraeus’ group management in monitoring the performance of the operating companies and identifying and executing growth opportunities.

The following challenges await you:

In your role as Senior Manager (m/f/d) of our Healthcare Platform you will advise the Heraeus Group's management on market developments and strategies relating to your assigned Healthcare operating companies.
You review the quarterly performance of your assigned Healthcare operating companies
Furthermore, you support the leadership teams of your assigned operating companies in various strategic and operational projects, including value creation plans
You will also analyse trends in the relevant healthcare markets and assess their impact on Heraeus.
You will identify and analyse new areas of interest in the healthcare sector as well as specific investment opportunities, and support the implementation of M&A, investment and partnership projects.
Last but not least, you maintain a network of external experts and consultants that you actively use to gain new insights.

Your Profile:

Successfully completed university degree in the field of Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering or related fields
Several years (5-7 years) working experience in strategy, business development or other relevant roles in the MedTech industry. Alternatively, background in strategy consulting, investment banking or private equity with a clear focus on and expertise in MedTech markets
Highly experienced in analyzing markets and trends, and the management of complex strategy projects
Solution- and result-oriented thinking
Excellent analytical and social skills as well as team spirit and flexibility
Strong reading, writing and oral English skills as well as the ability and willingness to effectively communicate to all levels in the organization (staff to executive leadership) globally
