The following challenges await you:

The General Ledger (GL) Accountant is responsible for executing comprehensive accounting functions and ensuring accurate IFRS financial reporting for designated U.S. legal entities. This role requires strong proficiency in SAP General Ledger operations, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analysis. The GL Accountant will collaborate closely with site controllers and Shared Services Finance to support monthly close processes, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Perform end-to-end GL accounting tasks including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
  • Upload and reconcile bi-weekly payroll data with ADP GL.
  • Maintain and monitor accruals and ensure compliance with internal controls.
  • Prepare and submit monthly IFRS financial packages.
  • Collaborate with site controllers to provide financial insights and reporting.
  • Utilize SAP for GL tasks such as managing Open Item accounts, running cost center reports, and executing internal order assessments.
  • Support external audits and ensure adherence to company policies and accounting standards.
    Contribute by identifying continuous improvement topics, initiating projects, and sharing knowledge.
  • Uphold the Code of Conduct and customer service standards.

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
  • 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a multinational environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of IFRS and SAP GL modules.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
