The following challenges await you:

  • You are at the sweet spot between R&D, commercial functions, operations and end user markets - identifying, evaluating, and driving new growth opportunities for Heraeus Precious Metals - Business Line Chemicals.
  • You observe, analyze and quantify current and future market share, actively screen technologies, and business models to identify potential areas of growth (organic and M&A)
  • You create business plans and formulate value propositions for innovation projects, new products and services with growth potential 
  • You build up strategic partnerships with relevant market players, target customers, start-ups, and research institutions
  • You gather and process information, formulate and test hypotheses, derive strategic initiatives and present them to theorganization and the management
  • You carry out projects and initiatives within multi-functional international teams, taking responsibility for steering these efforts to success, which means delivering project results within agreed timeframes, budgets and quality standards and considering the impact of your own projects across the business.


Your profile:

  • University degree in industrial engineering or engineering and MBA, business administration or similar
  • Good knowledge in the areas of market analysis, technology evaluation, strategy, business planning and project management
  • Knowledge in precious metals and their applications is a plus
  • First experience in Sales is a plus
  • Being a solid team player who is also an independent thinker, with hands-on attitude to approach other business partners openly
  • Strong presentation and analytical skills and strategic thinking
  • Endless curiosity, can-do initiative, hands-on mentality and a passion for making cross-functional projects work
  • Skills to communicate complex ideas effectively, both verbally and written, in English and German
  • Willingness to travel
