The following challenges await you:

  • Leading and developing a Fixed Assets team in the Shared Services Finance Centre Hanau, which supports up to 50 legal entities in Europe and America will be your responsibility.
  • You will be responsible for maintaining, and developing fixed asset accounting processes, including process descriptions and guidelines, internal controls, KPIs, implementation of tools, continuous improvement, and innovation.
  • In addition, your responsibility will include ensuring that the service levels defined in the Service Level Agreements are met, and that the financial statements for Fixed Asset Accounting are legally compliant.
  • You will also ensure the continuous improvement of processes in Fixed Asset Accounting.
  • You will develop and lead a team of 4-5 people and ensure appropriate risk and knowledge management for Fixed Asset Accounting.
  • Ensuring a high level of user satisfaction as well as the coordinated harmonization and standardization of processes and procedures in the various Shared Services Finance Centers will also be part of your responsibilities.
  • Last but not least, you will lead complex optimization and innovation projects, manage improvement activities and coordinate with external auditors in providing requested information and clarifying outstanding. 

Your Profile:

  • Master’s degree in business administration or equivalent, preferably with a major in a relevant field (Relevant work experience can compensate the educational requirement)
  • More than 10 years of professional experience in a relevant position in an international organization
  • Advanced cross process knowledge in all areas of responsibilities and beyond
  • Overview on best practices regarding systems, processes, and procedures in area of responsibility
  • Good SAP and Microsoft 365 knowledge 
  • Advanced leadership and management skills and experience of managing complex projects
  • Experience of dealing with stakeholders in an international setting
  • Strong in service- and customer-orientation
  • Shared Services/Business Services experience
  • Strong communication skills in German and English both verbal and written
